Roberta Wolff – Pianist, Educator, Coach

I hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Performance Teaching, with Distinction, from Guildhall School of Music and Drama, an LRSM Diploma, ATCL Diploma, Kodaly Centre London Certificate, Level 1, Distinction, and Certificate in Music Studies. I am also an EMCC coach practitioner. I have 20 years experience in teaching. I enjoy performing and social music making, my other interests include yoga, positive psychology, travelling, writing and meeting new people.

I specifically teach a wide range of ages and abilities, to date this has included private lessons for music scholars, trainee teachers, adults, teens and children, I have taught group classes for babies and pre-schoolers and class singing programmes in schools. I also mentor, teach, research and assess on two post graduate courses in performance teaching and piano pedagogy (GSMD and ESTA Education, Univeristy of Chichester)

I have written for Pianodao, Tim Topham Teach Piano Differently, and Skoove.

I feel very privileged to be in a position to inspire students; nothing beats the joyful look of triumph when a new skill has been achieved. I also feel strongly that the learning processes developed in front of the piano have the power to transform lives. The persistence and self belief required to master a tricky bar is no different to that which makes dreams into reality. It is the development and realisation of these powerful skills which forms the core message of the Music Me Piano Practice Resources.

It gives me great joy to hear how these resources positively impact practice for so many. I would love to hear from you.

I wish you every success!

Roberta
